We have been living in Europe for a year, and in that year we have traveled to so many amazing places. The short list from this past year includes:
Luzern, Switzerland
Paris, France
Brugge, Yepres, and Brussels, Belgium
Maastrict, Netherlands
Cologne, Rothenberg ob de Tauber, Frankfurt, Germany
and many, many more smaller towns and adventures along the way.
I still can’t believe all the fun we have had…. but I also can’t believe how fast time has flown. We have a little less then 2 years here (I am *really* hoping for more) which means I really need to get more purposeful about our travel. I chose to homeschool because of the freedom it would allow me to share my wanderlust with the kids. I want them to really SEE the world and learn from it. This coming year, starting in January, we will be using EVERY Friday for field trips. The goal is to see as much of Europe as possible!
This is my Bucket List for the next two years- please let me know if you have any suggestions to add to the list. I only put longer trips down, we’ll also be doing as many day trips as possible to locations within 2 hours of us (since those are the ones I can do alone with the kids for field trip Fridays).
The Europe Bucket List
Mediterranean Cruise including Egypt
Northern Europe Cruse including Russia
Scotland, Ireland, England (including Stonehenge)
Italy (Rome, Pompeii, Venice)
Greece

Just a note, Auschwitz is in Poland, not near Amsterdam. Sounds like a lot of traveling!!
